The data sets are obtained from the sediment of Maar Lake Twintaung, Myanmar. Varves were identified and counted from the sediment thin sections under a polarizing microscope and a stereoscopic microscope.The GC analyses were per-formed using a SHIMADZU GC-2010 equipped with a DB-5MS capillary column (30 m ×0.25 mm ×0.25 mm) and a flame ioniza-tion detector. Compound-specific car-bon isotopic analyses were performed using a TRACE2000 gas chromatograph com-bined with MAT 253 isotope ratio mass spec-trometer. The weighted stable car-bon isotope compositions were calculated from long-chain n-alkanes (nC27-nC33). |
