Title Study of Three-dimensional Lithospheric Resistivity Structure of the North China Craton and Its Thermal State
Creator YE Gaofeng
Subject Three dimensional models of resistivity from magnetotelluric stations in North China Craton
Publisher Xiukuan Zhao
Description The resistivity model was inverted with SINOPROBE MT data (870 out of 1450 stations) collected at North China Craton using 3-D inversion code ModEM. Horizontal slices of melt-fraction and temperature were calculated with the 3-D resistivity model using Hashin-Shtrikman boundary conditions. Matlab scripts of model plotting and melt-fraction and temperature calculating coded by authors were also included.

Date The inversion was finished on 05 Mar. 2018. The MT data were collected by China University of Geosciences, Beijing in 2009-2014.
Type The 3-D resistivity model was obtained with 3-D MT inversion code ModEM, and the data format of ModEM was inherited. The coordinates of MT stations used in 3-D inversion are in geographical degrees. The melt-fraction and temperature slices include longitudes, latitudes and melt-fractions or temperatures respectively.
Format Resistivity model in ModEM *.rho file. Site names and coordinates of stations in ModEM *.dat file, columns 2-4. The melt-fractions and temperatures at a series of depth in *.txt files.
